Homemakers Community Recycling is a community based project that aims to help reduce landfill within the county of Monmouthshire by collecting unwanted quality furniture fit for reuse. Homemakers is an educational non for profit organisation, run by staff and volunteers from all walks of life, and is part of the Monmouthshire County Council Waste Strategy.
Homemakers also operates monthly sales in Monmouth, Chepstow, Abergavenny and Caldicot. Homemakers also aims to help those people in need by offering affordable items such as Fridges, Washing Machines, Cookers, Freezers, Sofas Wardrobes and Beds plus many other second hand furniture items . Homemakers prides its' self on selling locally, nationally and internationally, but however restricts its collection service to only Monmouthshire households.
